[05-Apr-10] — Show Entry Confirmations Sent
Hi Everyone
I am pleased to say that everyone who has entered the CCCA National and given us an email address should have now received an email with their entry for confirmation. Those who did not supply an email address have been put in the post yesterday.
If you entered and have not got your email please check your deleted items first as a few people have reported their spam filters snaffled it up. If that isn’t the case please email me at pamela@cuddleton.com ASAP. I do have a few that have bounced back with incorrect emails and I am chasing them up.
I am now working through the corrections so please send them back ASAP. If you have a friend who has entered but isn’t on this list please pass the message on.
Thanks

[26-Mar-10] — Show Entry - Very Last Chance
Hi Everyone
We would like to thank everyone who has sent an entry in for the show. We are thrilled to have people coming from all over the country as well as from Victoria. Exhibitors are bringing a huge variety of breeds and colours so it should be a really interesting weekend.
With such a big entry our show secretary is processing forms. If you have not entered and would like to do so this is your very last chance. If you put your entry with payment in the mail this weekend so that it arrives in Monday's post you can still enter exhibits. This also applies to additional exhibits for people who have already entered. It must arrive in Mondays post so you may need to express post if you are not in Victoria.
Also a few people have asked that kittens go into one cage together. This isn't possible for this show. There are no litter classes and all exhibits must be in their own cage. People who have requested to share will be notified so they know to bring extra curtains.
Confirmations are being sent. Please check them very carefully and let the show secretary know of any changes ASAP. If you have title upgrades to add to your exhibits these need to be sent ASAP too.
Best Wishes
Pamela Lanigan

[19-Mar-10] — Show Entries Close Today
Just a reminder today is the last day for entries to the 2010 CCCA National Cat Show. If you have not posted it off you need to put it in the mail today.
Please make sure
- You include a self addressed envelope for your parking pass to be sent to you
- You pay the vetting fee per exhibit. We have had many entries with multiple cats who have only paid the $2 fee once. As you can imagine it takes a bit of time to follow these entries up even if it is only a few dollars. If you have already sent your entry in and accidently underpaid the vetting fee please make the additional payment ASAP and drop Shirley an email at cccawcc@hotkey.net.au to let her know it is on the way.
- You include pedigree copies
Confirmations will be sent out when entry processing is complete. Normally we send confirmations all at once. Due to the size of this show and the time we have to make corrections we will be doing confirmations in batches. If you hear that someone else has received a confirmation and you have not please don’t worry that your entry has not been received. We will send a message to let everyone know when all confirmations have been sent. Please check them very carefully. An error may lead to your exhibit being outclassed at the show.
If you have any questions regarding your entry please contact myself at cuddleton@optiic.com or Shirley at cccawcc@hotkey.net.au
Best wishes

[21-Jan-10] — 2010 CCCA National Show Update
Hi everyone. Below is an important message from Clare, our Sponsorship Coordinator.
Dear Cat Lovers,
Just in case you haven't already heard about Australia's exciting opportunity to hold the 2010 CCCA National Show in conjunction with the WORLD CAT CONGRESS in Melbourne in May 2010; I have attached several documents that will enlighten you on this topic. All exhibitors will have the opportunity to have their treasured felines judged by both Internationally acclaimed Judges, as well as Interstate and local Judges over the two day - 8 Ring Show.
Yes, you read correctly; this is not just a National Show; rather it is Australia's opportunity to show the world what we can do down under. Don't wait any longer to return your Sponsorship or Display Forms. You may miss out on this rare opportunity to have your name, cattery name, cat's name, or business/other on Rosettes for all to view. Display Areas to promote/sell your wares are also available as per the attached Display Area Forms. This is a great way to work in partnership with the Host Council (Feline Control Council of Victoria Inc), in making this a truly remarkable event.
Simply read over the attachments and fill in what suits your needs; pay by direct debit as per bottom of each Form and send you filled in Form to me for processing. If you don't do Direct Debit, that's fine; send a cheque with your form.

[09-Jan-10] — 2010 CCCA National Show Update
Hi everyone
Entries are starting to flow in for the show which is fantastic. Here are a few updates for you.
Accommodation update - We have arranged for cats to be accepted at the Quest Apartments in Flemington. This is only for cats that stay in their cages and no stud males will be accepted. This is really close to the venue so book now as we expect it to be popular. The phone number is (03) 9371 2200
Travel Tip - Don't forget to book your cats onto your flight straight away after you have booked your seats. Each flight has a very limited number of spots for animals so you need to get in as soon as you can. We have found some flights from Perth are already fully booked for animals. Also make sure you find out how many cats you can check in going to Victoria and from Victoria as some states allow three per passenger at the lower price while some charge freight rates after two.
Cages size update - the cages size details on the schedule have been updated so if you have already downloaded or printed the schedule here is the new details:
- Sizes for single cages range from a 46 cm (18”) cube to 50cm (20”) cube . Sizes for double cages range from 69cm long 46 deep and high (27x18x18”) to 100cm in length by 50cm deep and high (40 x 20 x 20”). Show curtains need to have sufficient stretch and particularly to be of ADEQUATE LENGTH to cover all three sides of the cage completely. Where possible, requests for double cages will be accommodated. Should demand outstrip supply, cages will be allocated according to the breed/maturity of the exhibit. Curtains may be of any plain colour without any other decorations or distinguishing markings in the cage. Exhibitors MAY supply their own cage, this is to be clearly indicated on their entry (including the bench space required). ALL CAGES SUPPLIED BY EXHIBITORS MUST HAVE THREE SOLID PAWPROOF SIDES.

- Change of venue again! It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We now have a massive pavillion at the show grounds. Make sure you include a stamped self addressed envelope in with your entry if you plan to drive and park at the show. We will send you out a parking pass as we have arranged parking for exhibitors.
